The CommSec website is being upgraded

We have upgraded our website, and we are moving your trading account to the new CommSec website in the next couple of weeks.

Whether you are a keen trader or an occasional investor, the upgrade is designed to improve your trading and investing experience.

What to expect

Your Trading Account
There is no need to do anything right now. You'll be able to access the upgraded website in a couple of weeks, and you’ll be directed to it automatically when you login to

The first time you login to the upgraded site you will be prompted to set up a Client ID. A CommSec Client ID is a consolidated ID which allows you to access all your CommSec accounts with a single login. It is an 8-digit number starting with '5'.

Once you've logged in to the website you'll notice a fresher look and design. We're confident you'll find it simple to use and navigate.
